2. Scope and acceptance
This document governs access to and use of the lexdixit.com website, its language versions and the company's advertising landing pages.
By opening and using the website, you accept these terms in their current version. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website; disagreeing has no other consequences.
The website is available in seven languages (ES · EN · RU · UA · IT · PL · BG). The Spanish version is legally binding; the other languages are translations provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
3. Website content is not legal advice
The texts on this website are general information. They do not take into account anyone's particular circumstances and are not legal advice that you can rely on when making decisions.
Using the website, submitting a form, sending an email or calling us does not create a lawyer–client relationship. Such a relationship arises only once an engagement letter (hoja de encargo) has been signed and we have accepted the instruction.
The free initial consultation is a first look at your situation and an answer to whether we can help. It is not a legal opinion or an assessment of your prospects.
The response time stated on the website is a guide for enquiries made during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00–18:00), not a contractual commitment.
4. Rules for using the website
You must not:
- use the website for unlawful purposes or in breach of these terms;
- disrupt the website, put excessive load on it or circumvent technical restrictions;
- try to access sections, data or systems that are not intended to be public;
- automatically collect the website's content (crawling, scraping, bulk copying of data) without our written consent;
- impersonate another person or provide false contact details;
- submit personal data of third parties without a legal basis for doing so.
5. Contact forms
Through the forms on the website we collect your name, phone number, email, preferred language and a description of your situation, in order to reply to you. How we process this data, on what legal basis and for how long we keep it is explained in the Privacy policy.
Sending an enquiry creates no obligations for either you or us.
Before a contract is signed, do not send case documents, confidential information or material containing personal data of third parties through the website: it is not a secure channel for transmitting documents.
6. Intellectual property
The rights to the website's texts, structure, design, graphics and logo belong to LEX DIXIT TAX AND LEGAL, S.L. or are used lawfully.
You may: read the website, quote short extracts with attribution and a link, and print pages for personal use.
You may not: copy the website or its sections in full, use its texts and design for commercial purposes, alter the materials and publish them under your own name, or use the logo and brand identity without written consent.
Photographs of our team in the “About us” section are published with the consent of the people shown and are intended for use on this website only. Any use by third parties is prohibited.
7. Client reviews
Reviews are published with their authors' consent. The rating and number of reviews shown reflect Google's data on the date of this version and change over time.
The results described relate to specific cases and specific circumstances. They are not a promise or forecast of the same result in another case: the outcome depends on facts, documents and decisions by authorities and courts, which we do not control.
8. Links to third-party websites
The website may contain links to the websites of public authorities and other third parties. We do not control their content and are not responsible for it, for their availability or for how they process data. When you follow such a link, that website's terms and policies apply.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the website running without interruption, but we do not guarantee it: interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, failures at service providers and other circumstances beyond our control.
We may change the website's content, structure and sections at any time, or stop operating it.
10. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our wilful misconduct or negligence in accordance with Spanish law. Nothing in this document excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow it — including liability for legal services provided and liability towards consumers.
The company's professional activity is insured: professional liability insurance (Seguro de Responsabilidad Civil Profesional) with a limit of €300,000 per claim.
We are not liable for the consequences of decisions made on the basis of the website's information without obtaining advice on your specific situation, nor for interruptions in access to the website or the content of third-party websites.
11. Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie policy. Both documents form part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the law changes, new services are added to the website or our way of working changes. A new version takes effect when it is published on the website; the version date is shown at the top of the document.
Existing contractual relationships are governed by the terms of the contract, not by later changes to this document.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
Spanish law applies.
Disputes are heard by the courts of the company's registered office — the city of Alicante.
If you are a consumer (acting outside your trade or profession), jurisdiction is determined by law and is not changed by this clause: you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence, and the mandatory consumer protection rules of your EU country of habitual residence apply.
14. Dispute resolution
Before going to court, please write to us at office@lexdixit.com — we reply within one month, and in most cases the matter is resolved without a dispute.
Complaints about a lawyer's conduct can be sent to the Ilustre Colegio Provincial de la Abogacía de Alicante (ICALI).
